We're getting the following errors in our mail log? The bav.sock is file is there as is bav.conf-local. In addition we've checked for the symbolic links that some have reported to resolve the problem in the past.

Having a very similar problem, i'm not getting a bav.sock file so sendmail is kicking off. I've checked over the permissions as reported in other threads but still have the same problem

I copied the structure of mailing_backend_log_tbl and renamed it.

Did anyone resolve this issue?

I noticed you've had the same "Unable to read relay-domains (2, 'No such file or directory')" error as me. How did you end up sorting it out?

I've checked if I have exim installed and I don't :(

The system has worked without error before, the only difference this time was we did a deferred send ...

I have confirmed it is an issue going from v5.5.1 to v6.0.1 via the upgrade scripts in /usr/share/doc/OpenEMM-6.0.1

We have imported the v5.5.1 database to MySQL, then exected the following update scripts........

update_openemm-5.5.1-6.0.sql
update_openemm-6.0-6.0.1.sql

... we have also performed ...

Did you get to the bottom of your issue? I have recently imported 5.5.1 data to the 6.0.1 system and have upgraded the database as per the scripts shipped with the product. I however am having similar issues to you?

Is there any reason not to run openemm under an x64 system with x64 MySQL server?

Can I just add on the third press the recipiant isn't in fact added although you get a sucessful change log?

Yes we have indeed.

Strangely if we add a new recipiant through the web form it instantly comes back with the error stating "! An error occured while saving the recipient. " at the top of the recipiant add form.

If you then press save again the message disappears, but the form and details remain ...

Are you intending on using x64 editions of mysql?

We have created a new instance of openemm v6.0.1 which had data from our 5.5.1 install imported via a database restore... then the tables modified by .sql scripts as specified in the install doc.

Problem being forms no longer work and adding a recipiant through the web interface has strange results ...
