I have a question regarding the meaning of some numbers in the "Send Mailing" data.

When I look on the Sending Mailing I see that from 85K generated messages, 80K was sent.

1-Can I positively say that those 80K was delivered to the destination SMTP with success?

2-Refused messages by ...

To be honest, I haven't changed the default template (html-skelet) but in "Content" tab I can preview the message without problem.

I'll try it again from scratch and lets see what happen.

In the "Content" tab, I clicked in the link "New content" of row "HTML -Version" which lead me to the screen where I can add the content.

I then added the following content:

In this case I wasn't using a template. What I did was

* Created a mailing for all subscribers of a certain mailing list
* Added a text content for all-targets
* Added two HTML contents, each one for a specific target

All the rest was pretty much the defaults to build a mailing.

I create a mailing with two HTML content, each one binded with a specific target. When I try to send mail for test accounts or for the administrator accounts, the module raises an error saying that there is no HTML content set. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, found the error so far, and registering it here for future reference.

The problem was related to bav.socket error, which was caused because smctrl was not running setuid, as explained in http://www.openemm.org/forums/ftopic56.html


chown -R openemm:openemm .bash* *
chown root:root bin/smctrl ...

After installing the OpenEMM server, I created a mailing and send message to administrator recipient. OpenEMM page says everything is ok and messages was created but I never receive them.

Thanks for the help. I guess I found the problem:

The CSV I'm importing has an <'> character in some field values which was breaking the SQL code. Does openEmm sanitize the CSV values prior to importing?

No worries. I convert the date to ISO format and now its ok. By the way, yes I'm importing from a CSV file.
