Maybe for future editions, the script can check for the 64bit packages. I believe the script only checks for 32bit packages and that is the possible reason for the error. I think you have a wonderful product, so I am just trying to get it installed ...

I use Centos 5.3 x64 bit. I also use MySQL 5.0.84 x64 bit. I can comment out the script part to bypass it, so it will run.

Is this an unknown feature for the x64 bit platform?
