OpenEMM Support

Just to let you know I have changed the following to the domain that the openemm is on:

update company_tbl set rdir_domain="http://www.somecompany.com";

Running Vmware version of Openemm

Looks like I have found out what the problem is and that was that I was using Agnitas-tag that was not recognise in the email!

Looks like to get around this you need to install VMware tools - used these two links to do so:

Found out how to do it, type

loadkeys uk

at the command prompt.

I also notice that this message seems to also appear in the maillog after it stopped working and after every attempt to send an emal

vmx sendmail (2246): unable to write pid to /home/openemm/var/run/sendmail-openemm-admin.pid: Permission Denied

Although the link provided earlier says not to worry ...

Looking at the /var/log/maillog file I can see one confirmation of an email going out to the administrators account and then on it just keeps repeating the below for event time I try to send an email:

vmx sendmail (1189): starting daemon (8.13.8): SMTP+queueing@01:00:00

vmx sm-msp-queue(1897 ...

I have used links to my website in the email message that I would like to track. The domain the Openemm server is on and my website are different.

When you click on a link in the email it directs me to a blank page on the openemm server instead of the URL in the email message? - appoligise ...

Running the VMWare image of OpenEMM - all seems to be running fine except I am getting a continues message:

set_rtc_mmss: can't update from x to 59

Know its something to do with the clock but not sure what to do about it.

Just installed the Vmware image of OpenEMM but the keyboard layout is not how I need for UK, i.e z = y and visa versa.

Anyone know how to change it?
